Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I have been living in Upstate NY since 1995. I work in photography, performance and installation. My work occurs in the realm of personal and social space, questioning how individuals form feelings of selfhood, connection, and belonging.
I'm interested in self-image and identity formation. I create situations for the camera to observe relationships with self and between people, and relationships to time and place.
